Lifetime Warranty. Done-Right.
The same HVAC contractor who installs a system in a $300,000 house, performs the same level of attention in a $3,000,000 house. As one “high end custom builder” once proclaimed, “Give them the size they want, show the little lady a fancy kitchen with a granite island, give the dude a big bbq deck or a man cave, and the rest of the house can be crap as I don’t pay their utility bills, and cut every corner I can to make a quick buck.” From our own experience, do not rely on local code enforcement to quality check your installation. That is the responsibility of your contractor.
WARNING: Poor Air Circulation and leaky ductwork is wide spread in far
too many homes. Relating to inconsistent, uncomfortable temperatures,
higher energy costs, indoor allergens causing poor indoor air quality due
to contaminated ductwork, especially in many new construction homes,
(cheap) highly restrictive flex duct materials, poor indoor air quality, potential known scarring of new ceiling areas and carpet. Inconsistent cooling problems are widely known as well. Many air duct systems are "out of balance" and incapacitated of achieving long term performance and cleanliness.
High performance units are nice to have, but a home’s heating and air conditioning system is really only as efficient as its ductwork. However,
over time leaks and gaps can form in ducts, particularly at the joints and
seams. You’ll usually feel the effects, too—a stuffy room that never feels
quite comfortable, or spaces in your home that are always too hot or too
In many cases, however, other variables to include lack of air flow from inadequate air duct applications are the culprit.
Sealing these leaks reduces heating and cooling demand by about 20 to 30 percent, according to the Department of Energy. That’s a potential savings
of several hundred dollars a year on your utility bills.
We provide the very best in Home Comfort, Innovation, Quality Materials and Products at a very Competitive Price.

2015 Minnesota Residential Energy Code has been enforced to enhance
overall home building performance by its builders and related subcontractors. Variations can be applied according to its codes and implementation.
More advanced building techniques may qualify for enhanced energy savings, incentives and Federal Tax Credits. This includes HERS Ratings, (Home Energy Rating System), Infrared Testing, Blower Door Testing, Air Duct Leakage Testing, HVAC Systems with constant torque ECM or VSM Type Motors. Since 1998, we have been already providing Two-Stage Heating, energy-saving, sealed combustion furnaces with ECM motors. While exceeding any energy code or industry recommendations.
Most of us take heating and cooling our homes for granted. Such as a light switch or garage door opener, etc. All of our appliances and home automation devices require some form of energy, electricity and the burning of fossil fuels to heat our homes. Including natural gas, propane and other forms such as #2 fuel
oil. Many people are clueless of their home's heating & cooling systems.
Are your home mechanical systems working properly, are they safe? Actually, how efficient is your heating system. We can provide a thorough heating performance analysis report. Infrared Technology can determine unseen
factors behind walls or within floors, windows, roof areas that can be
detrimental towards a permanent resolution of findings.
This includes air flow, temperature consistency, energy savings, efficiency
rating equipment performance, safety controls working and rated manufacturer optimum performance and required operation. Of course, most importantly an accurate inspection of any heat exchanger fracture or cracks prior to any heating season.
Let our team take the worry away with our comprehensive "whole house approach" for all of your indoor home comfort needs. Large or small, we can handle every kind of indoor comfort situation. Well-proven with our results
with up to 1/2 century of unmatched experience. Window problems, dryness, wood floor warping, itching skin, indoor upper respiratory problems, uneven temperature fluctuations room by room, floor by floor, dust problems, poor air flow, etc. Uniquely qualified diagnostics and experience counts on every job. 100% GUARANTEE.
Especially critical on older furnaces beyond 10 years of age. Highly qualified, experienced, certified heating professionals are rare. Cheap, quick, heating services do not provide any value or required time to effectively diagnose, remove and clean entirety of blower housing assembly, analyze building performance, potential backdrafting issues, CO analysis, secondary heat exchanger inspection and cleaning, combustion air, air flow performance,
inspect chimney at roof area and more.
These are a few key safety inspections in order to maintain long term furnace efficiency, occupational health, safety assurance and optimum HVAC equipment performance.
Geothermal Heating & Cooling Systems work very efficiently when applied properly. Much strategy and engineering is generally required as well. Energy ratings are determined by COP, EER and HSPF Ratings.
During summer cooling, unwanted heat from inside the home is moved or transferred to outdoors, into the ground by circulator pumps and a glycol
and water medium. Winter heating allows heat, generally around 50F pumped through pex piping from the ground into the home through a glycol and water solution.
A closed loop type application is highly recommended. Open loop, or pump and dump applications are banned in many areas. As well, unless waste water is retained for other use, water dumping back into the environment can be up
to 1.1 million gallons per year.
When needed, a boost of additional heat is applied to the air stream in home via the heat pump compressor operation. During summer cooling, a copper, coaxial coil loop, a desuperheater, can retain unwanted heat pumped to outdoors and secure within a holding tank for domestic, potable, hot water. Basically, free hot water for your home. The entirety of heat pump unit is located in the mechanical room.
There is no SEER rating due to having no outdoor air conditioner. For example, COP or Coefficiency of Performance is the capacity, ability or output of any (heat pump) heating and cooling unit in comparison to the amount of useful units of energy (electricity) required. HSPF or Heating Seasonal Performance Factor is used to measure the efficiency of any heat pump. Ratings of 8 or greater considered very efficient.
Heating & Cooling Systems are just a fraction of the overall energy savings and comfort of any home. Any house must perform as an integrated system of many components all working in harmony together, as one, during the most inclement weather conditions.
Improving window U-Value efficiency, U-factor values generally range from 0.18 to 1.25 and are measured in Btu/h. ft² °F. The lower the U-factor, the better the window insulates. At least 18" cellulose loose fill insulation in attic, up to R-50, with adequate roof and soffit area ventilation. Upper ceiling beneath attics shall be sealed and air tight to prevent excessive heat loss and unwanted moisture into attic. Turbine type roof vents are not generally recommended.
Any thermal mass and "sealed" vapor barrier shall be applied on the warm side
of any wall. Exterior walls above R-21 can influence your overall HVAC building performance factor. Hence, lower any furnace output ratings while saving energy costs.
Staples connected seams are not effective in the sealing of poly material. Approved manufacturer taping material is best. Non-hardening, manufacturer conforming sealant required at base of floor at vapor barrier. Contact your Andersen, Marvin, Pella, Jeld-Wen window manufacturers for more details.
Many home inspectors and structural engineers have keen insight and training. Always do your homework, ask the right questions and trust your true instincts before you hire any contractor or proceed on such a large investment. Building Science is critical towards having a better understanding in home performance.
Before you hire any contractor for any maintenance, always ask up front what they are willing to do, watch them work, ask questions and request a report of findings when all complete. You are in charge, not others, its your home and your money.
